In most coffee cherries, two beans grow side by side. Occasionally a cherry grows just one small, round bean, a peaberry, and it is sorted out and sold as a prized grade of its own. This one comes from the highlands of Tanzania and is roasted dark in New York. Expect plum, chocolate-dipped strawberry and orange zest. It's a memorable single origin for pour-over and a conversation starter at the breakfast table or on a café menu.
Tasting notes: Plum, chocolate-dipped strawberry, orange zest.
